About Us
The Arizona Museum of Natural History Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the mission of the Arizona Museum of Natural History. The AZMNH Foundation is here to empower the Museum to create and deliver innovative experiences and knowledge so the past can inform the future. We achieve this by providing support for grant writing, educational opportunities, financial funding, and hundreds of volunteers to help the Museum succeed.

I love AZMNH because it inspires kids to learn from the past and stay curious about the world beneath their feet. It's a special place that brings generations together, as parents make memories with their children, who grow up and pass on those traditions to their own families.

Past President, Development Chair
The AZMNH is a wonderful place with discoveries around every corner about the people and creatures who have inhabited Arizona for millions of years!

I love AZMNH because it is a place for discovery and connection. This museum has served as a steadfast place in our community and it is such a delight to witness people continue to discover it (or re-discover when they return with their own small scientists many years later).

The natural world was here long before us and will be here long after us. We’re just lucky to have the brief chance to appreciate it.

AZMNH is one of the best Natural History museums of the Southwest that houses a great collection of artifacts from all over the world. It is a creative space for kids and adults to explore and learn. The curators preserve history with many precious collections.

AZMNH helps us to understand the natural world like no other place in this area. It's a special place that can be appreciated by both adults and children.

I love the Arizona Museum of Natural History because it brings many worlds under one roof: paleontology, anthropology, geology, astronomy, etc. A visit to the museum can inspire young people to enter science fields and fills visitors of every age with awe and wonder. Little experts can even flex what they know and teach their parents about these topics

Honestly? I love the AZMNH because it just feels like magic. It's the place that connects ALL the dots for me. Personally, it takes me back to being a kid, totally amazed, hunting fossils with my grandfather! Those years spent in museums shaped who I am and who I wanted to be - AZMNH carries that same sense of wide-eyed wonder. Through those experiences, I became a professor. The museum truly works as an educational powerhouse. It doesn't just display stuff; it tells the whole Arizona story from great dinosaurs to the vibrant cultures we have today. The museum is where history and science jump right out at you. It lights a fire under people, sparking that shared curiosity that makes our entire community smarter and stronger and a unique place to engage with history.
